Important 2010 Election Dates
Primary Election Dates
• Wednesday, July 14th: Advance voting begins for primary election
• Monday, July 19th: Last day to register or change party affiliation for primary election
• Friday, July 30th: Deadline for voters to apply for advance voting ballots to be mailed for primary election
• Monday, August 2nd: Noon deadline to cast advance voting ballots in person in office of County Election Officer
• Tuesday, August 3rd: Primary Election Day – Polls open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Advance voting ballots must be received in office of County Election Officer by close of polls
General Election Dates
• Wednesday, October 13th: Advance voting begins for general election
• Monday, October 18th: Last day to register to vote in general election
• Friday, October 29th: Deadline for voters to apply for advance voting ballots to be mailed
• Monday, November 1st: Noon deadline to cast advance voting ballots in person in office of County Election Officer
• Tuesday, November 2nd: General Election Day – Polls open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Advance voting ballots must be received in office of County Election Officer by close of polls
